Body found on I-20 ID'd as missing grandmother

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities say a decomposing body found Wednesday night in DeKalb County has been identified as Millicent Williams, the grandmother who disappeared weeks ago under "highly suspicious" circumstances.

Investigators said they found Williams’ body down an embankment off westbound I-20.

“DKPD has used all of their resources in trying to find Ms. Williams from helicopters, K9, to the dive team,” said Shiera Campbell with the DeKalb County Police Department.

On Wednesday night, Campbell said the body was so badly decomposed that investigators couldn't tell if it belonged to a man or a woman.
