Police identify victim in fatal I-75 wreck

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Marietta police have identified the person killed in a wreck on Interstate 75 Sunday.

Richeany Meas, 25, died in the wreck just south of the Delk Road overpass.

Both cars came to rest against a median wall, the Jeep on its roof.

Meas was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and later died, according to police.

Zavaleta and the 4-year-old were also taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.

Jordan was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

All lanes of the I-75 southbound were closed for about 30 minutes after the crash.

No charges are expected in the crash, according to police.

Anyone with any information regarding this crash is urged to call police at 770-794-5364.

Police say two other cars were involved in the chain reaction crash.
