Couple searching for dog after attempted robbery

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — A Florida couple is desperate to find their missing dog.

They said the 5-year-old pit bull-Lab mixed breed, Baby Girl, got loose during an attempted armed robbery at the Days Inn in College Park on Christmas Day.A couple from Florida is desperate to find their missing dog.

They say the 5-year-old lab/pit bull mix, Baby Girl, got lose during an attempted armed robbery at the Days Inn in College Park on Christmas Day.

The owners said they have set up a trap to try and catch Baby Girl after reports she was spotted in the Main Street area of College Park.

"She is a dog, but she's part of our family. She really is," said owner Marie Dean Moore-Touchet.

"Until you've been attached to an animal like that, it's like you're looking for a lost child. Anybody who's a dog lover knows how I feel," Craig Touchet said.

The couple is offering a reward to help find Baby Girl. They have also set up a Facebook page to help get the word out.
