ATLANTA - Construction on the College Football Hall of Fame has caused road closures and changes in downtown Atlanta.
The Hall of Fame has been in South Bend, Ind., but is being relocated to a site previously known as the Georgia World Congress Center green lots.
As of Monday, Foundry Street intersecting the construction site will be closed permanently. Baker Street has been widened and extended to the west of the construction site, into the Georgia World Congress Center gulch. The extension will provide access to the Omni Hotel and GWCC loading docks.
The nearly 95,000-square-foot facility is set to open in 2014.
