You can register online before midnight or fill out a form and drop it off at the elections office by 5:00 p.m.
It is the last day to register, if you want to cast your ballot in the November 7 election.
In Cobb County, the races include school board, a state senator and a city council member.
Cobb County elections director Janine Eveler said less people vote in local elections but that should not be the case.
“In this November’s election, it’s not county-wide, so it’s only certain districts that are going to be voting,” Eveler said.
In Cobb County, the races include school board, mayors, city council, and a state senator.

“Most of the unincorporated county will not have anything to vote on this time,” Eveler said.
In Atlanta, people will vote for the city’s next mayor.
“I always encourage people to cast their ballot. It is an important voice that you have, especially in local elections,” Eveler said. “That’s where a lot of the business for your community takes place.”
Voters can also mail a registration form in. To do so, you must go to the post office and ask for it to be postmarked by today.
