COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Interstate 75 is back open after a fatal wreck shut the interstate down near Delk Road Friday afternoon.
A car crashed into the back end of a tractor-trailer, closing several lanes of the interstate.
The Georgia State Patrol said a driver made an improper lane change that caused chain reaction crash.

Troopers said a man died in the crash, but have not released his name at this point.

Police have charged the man accused of causing the wreck, Mark Burkhalter, 35, of Ellenwood, with homicide by vehicle, improper lane change and failure to change address within 60 days.
He was taken to the Cobb County Jail. There is no word Burkhalter has made bond.
