This new program is helping students outside the classroom

The Graduate Marietta Student Success Center 

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — As Marietta City Schools begin a new school year, it will welcome a program to help students outside of the classroom.

We toured the basement of Marietta High School where The Graduate Marietta Student Success Center is providing students with such needs as food and clothing.

The program director said it offers emotional support and is driven by the students.

If teachers notice students’ grades slipping or that they are missing classes, they said they will work to get the student involved in the program.
