Barbee had her 5-month-old in the car.

Police say the mother also had a semi-automatic Uzi submachine gun in the trunk of the car.

Barbee spoke exclusively to Channel 2’s Dave Huddleston about the accusations.

“I cried my eyes out all night,” she said.

Barbee admits she did smoke marijuana, but not in the car and not in front of her child.

"There was marijuana in the car, but there was no smoking marijuana in the car. We got charged with possession, which is true,” she said.

She also says having the Uzi in her trunk is not against the law, and that she owns all of her guns legally. Her Facebook page shows her posing with several guns, but she says she has a permit to carry a gun.

"I have a Second Amendment right. The gun in the trunk was legal. Everything is legal,” she said.

Barbee is not facing any charges for the Uzi, but was charged with reckless conduct.

“It is a false accusation. My child was not in danger,” she said

Her daughter was not taken into state custody.

Barbee's next court date is in a couple of weeks.
