KSU fraternity suspended amid allegations of misconduct

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Kennesaw State University fraternity has been suspended amid allegations of misconduct on campus.

Pi Kappa Phi is the second fraternity in a month to face the allegations.

University officials said they issued a cease and desist order to the fraternity after learning on Oct. 25 that members allegedly violated the school’s student code of conduct.

“I don’t want to say it’s expected, because that’s bad to say, but we all grow up knowing the dangers of fraternities,” student Grant Kuehne said.

Last month, the school also issued a cease and desist order banning all chapter activities for Pi Kappa Alpha after allegations of hazing.

“It shows the school is taking action against them as well,” Kuehne said.

School officials sent a statement that said: “Any behavior which threatens the safety of the members of our campus community is of great concern and we will hold individuals and organizations accountable.”
