AUSTELL — A Cobb County woman is facing multiple charges after police said she was arrested for a DUI with her child in her car, as well as public urination.

Epiphaney Ranae Alexander was pulled over on January 30 around 2:10 a.m. at Powder Springs Road and Pine Grove Drive.

Authorities said Alexander refused a breath test, but the officer on the scene noted a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” coming from her.

The officer said Alexander had her 2-year-old son in the backseat of her vehicle.

When officers attempted to handcuff Alexander, authorities said she pulled away from the officers, resisting arrest.

Inside her car, authorities said they found an open Budweiser and an opened pint bottle of alcohol that was half consumed.

Police also said Alexander was spotted urinating out of her car while stopped in the turning lane of Powder Spring Road.

Alexander was charged with DUI, child endangerment, battery, driving with an open container, public indecency, driving with a suspended license and other charges. She was given $7,000 bond.
