Children critical after car crashes into tree

Two children were taken by helicopter to the hospital after a car crashed into a tree Friday morning.

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two children were critically injured after a car crashed into a tree Friday, according to Fulton County police.

The crash happened on Feldwood Road near Union City sometime before 10:50 a.m.

Police said a man was driving three girls. One of the girls was taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston via helicopter, and a second was taken to the same hospital by ambulance. The driver and a third girl were taken to another area hospital.
