Chase ends in fiery crash into pole

ATLANTA — Police said a driver crashed into a pole following a chase in northwest Atlanta on Saturday.

The Douglas County sheriff's office said the driver was wanted for an armed robbery out of a different jurisdiction.

The chase went along Interstate 20 and the driver crashed into a pole on Bolton Road.

The car went up in flames.

No officers were injured in the pursuit.

It is not clear if the driver had any injuries.
