DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Channel 2 Action News is learning more about an apartment fire that displaced nearly 40 people in DeKalb County.
The fire burned 24 units at the Eagles Run apartments on Bouldercrest Road on Saturday.
That night, firefighters told Channel 2 that they had water pressure problems.
DeKalb County officials said Monday that it was a volume issue with an 8-inch line.
Tenants complained about not enough water.
"About 30 minutes into the fire, there was no water. So we just literally stand here and watch it just burn," said Byron Strong.
Firefighters rescued 11 people, including a baby.
