ATLANTA - Police have arrested a man who they say kidnapped a 5-year-old boy in Carrollton on Thursday morning.
Investigators say Christopher Steven Fields kidnapped Lealand Hill from his grandmother's home.
Carrollton police spokesman Capt. Chris Dodd says Fields is the child's father but he does not have custody.
Police say that Lealand left his grandmother's house with Fields last night. Investigators say had no reason to fear that Fields would harm the child, but he has a history of drug use.
