• Cain: I'm in it to win it

ATLANTA,None - Republican presidential hopeful Hermain Cain told party members in Atlanta that he’s determined to win the race for the White House.

Channel 2’s Lori Geary was at a downtown hotel Saturday, where Cain addressed the Young Republican National Federation.

“I’m in it to win it,” he said.

Cain spoke at the group’s quarterly meeting at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. He ignored the sexual harassment scandal plaguing his campaign, and instead discussed his 9-9-9 tax plan and President Barack Obama’s shortcomings. He didn’t take any questions afterward.

Despite four women’s claims that Cain sexually harassed them when he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, Cain has maintained his innocence. Many of his supporters are sticking by him.

“They're trying to distract Herman from the job of running for president of the United States. He's not biting,” Georgia GOP Chair Sue Everhart told Geary after Wednesday night’s debate.

Cain is still topping several polls and reporting record-breaking fundraising.
