Burglars smash hole in pharmacy drive-thru box

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A DeKalb County pharmacy was damaged Monday morning when a thief used an unusual tactic to break in.

The burglars ripped apart the drive-thru box that sends medications to customers at the Rite Aid on Flat Shoals Parkway.

A manager is in the store evaluating the damage and checking to see what, if anything was stolen. He confirmed to Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach that someone did manage to sqeeze through the small hole.

There are surveillance cameras in the drive-thru area of the pharmacy.
