Woman, 48, killed on Fulton Industrial Blvd. in SW Atlanta

Authorities say the victim was a 48-year-old woman. Her name has not been released.

ATLANTA — Police are investigating a fatal accident in Southwest Atlanta.

Fulton County Police Cpl. M. Smith told Channel 2 Action News that the accident happened at the intersection of Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Philip Lee Drive.

Authorities say the victim was a 48-year-old woman. Her name has not been released.

The road was closed for more than an hour while crews investigated. It has since reopened.
