• Body found in south Fulton County

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A body was found in south Fulton County on Friday.

It happened at Butner and Aldridge roads. Fulton County police spokeswoman Melissa Parker said foul play is expected.

Crime scene investigators and the medical examiner worked throughout the afternoon to determine how a man's body ended up in the middle of the road.

Neighors told Channel 2's Ryan Young they wondered if a rash of recent break-ins are connected to the crime.

Bernice Mebene told Young that someone broke into the home next to her daughter's on Thursday.

Police told Young they have identified the man, but they did not release his name or how he died.
