BUCKHEAD, Ga. - A body found in a creek at a Buckhead golf course Tuesday has been identified.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, the body is of 38-year-old Joseph Corey Goodwin, of Atlanta.
Atlanta Police Department spokesman Greg Lyon said Goodwin’s body was found on the northwest side of the Cross Creek golf course, near Interstate 75 and Peachtree Battle in Buckhead.
The cause of death has not been determined and is pending lab results. Lyon said police are still investigating.
