COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News is gathering details about a bicyclist who was hit and killed on Bells Ferry Road in Cobb County.
News Chopper 2's Jason Durden flew over the scene at about 5 p.m.
Durden reported seeing a medical examiner and emergency crews gathered near the bicycle on the road located about halfway between Shallowford Road and Highway 92 in the Cobb County-Woodstock area.
Both northbound lanes were blocked on Bells Ferry Road and crews ran northbound traffic to southbound lanes to get through major delays.
