PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities found a woman after a search that lasted several hours in Pickens County.
Diane Parks, 68, wandered away from a picnic with her family Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials said Parks had a history of dementia.
She was found about a mile from the spot she wandered away from, according to search and rescue authorities.
She was spotted by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter at about 7 p.m., according to officials.
