ATLANTA - A woman was hospitalized after part of a building facade collapsed on her.
We had live coverage of this breaking news on Channel 2 Action News at 4 on Monday.
Atlanta fire says the awning structure fell as the woman came out of the office along Bishop Street in northwest Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the awning that fell was above a chiropractor’s office.

Witnesses tell Channel 2 Action News the woman was pinned by the debris.
"It took two of us to push the door and get her inside,” said the witness. “Honestly, I thought a car had hit the door and was pinning her. I was happy to see it was just a piece of the roof."
A building inspector says a crew was working on the facade earlier in the day.
The building is closed for the time being.
The woman was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
