Victim identified in deadly shooting in Buckhead shopping center

ATLANTA — An Atlanta father was shot and killed at a Buckhead shopping center Thursday night. 

The victim was identified Saturday as Derrick Dukes, 45.

Dukes was in the Piedmont-Peachtree Crossing Plaza parking lot when he got into a fight with two people in one of the parking spaces and the fight ended in gunfire, according to police.

Dukes was shot and died from his wounds.

Police released cell phone video hoping to identify the people involved.

Investigators are trying to identify a man seen wearing a white tank top in the video. They believe he was the aggressor in the case.
