210,000 “Swifties” packed the venue, bringing in $33 million in ticket sales.
Some of that money was left right here in Atlanta.
“We were so thrilled to get a call from Taylor Swift’s team,” Kyle Waide, CEO of Atlanta Community Food Bank told Channel 2′s Karyn Greer. “She made a really generous donation to the food bank. It’s going to help us get more food to families right now.”
While they won’t reveal just how much Swift’s generous donation amounts to, we know it will make a difference.
200,000 families come to the food bank every week for help.

“So many of our neighbors right now are facing a lot of economic pressure. Inflation is really persisting. And that’s creating high levels of demand,” Waide said. “We’re going into the summer. The demands on these families are going to increase as kids are out of school. So the timing couldn’t be better.”
It’s obvious Swift believes in karma.
She has been making these donations at food banks in cities all along the tour.
The Atlanta Community Food Bank distributed its one billionth meal in February.
Eight and a half million pounds of food are distributed by the food bank every month.
