ATLANTA — Street sweepers made a grisly discovery late Thursday night -- a body on the side of the street.
Now police are investigating the death as a hit-and-run.
Police said a crew cleaning the streets found the man dead on the ground in grass near Interstate 285 on Campbellton Road. The crews immediately called 911.
Authorities believe a vehicle hit him and kept going.

The hit-and-run unit is working the case, and right now, they have no description on a vehicle.
Police said the victim is between the ages of 20 to 30 years old and are working to find out his name.
