Dozens of people with the ATL is Ready movement came together in front of City Hall to declare they're not finished demonstrating in Atlanta.

“We are confident in the power of the people and we are going to resist until we get what we need,’ said Avery Jackson with ATL is Ready.

Jackson was one of the people who were invited to a closed-door meeting with Reed Monday morning after last week's protests.

Reed said earlier that the talks were productive.

“I want the public to know there was real recommendations that came out of this meeting today,” Reed said.

But the invitees included singer Usher Raymond and other people Jackson said he didn't recognize.

“Everyone who was at the table was handpicked by him which was not made clear to us prior,” Jackson told Johnson.

“Has anybody seen Usher at any of these marches? No,” said Khalid Kamau with Black Lives Matter Atlanta.

Organizers say they have a list of four demands they want see the city implement. Some of the demands involve police reform.

“The people demand an immediate end of having an excessive police force in black and marginalized communities,” Kamau said.

They say demonstrations will continue in the city and have a new message for Mayor Reed.

“I hope that no one gets hurt. I hope that no one else gets arrested but anything else that happens at this point is on your hands because you had the opportunity to stop it today,” Kamau said.
