ATLANTA — Atlanta police have found four children who were abducted during a carjacking Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses said police responded around 12:30 p.m. to reports of an armed carjacking at an apartment complex on Allison Court in southwest Atlanta.
Police said Imani Williams, 13, Brianna Williams, 4, Bryson Williams, 2, and Cloy Griffin, 1, were taken.
Authorities said a woman stole a vehicle with the four children inside.
The children and suspect were believed to be traveling in a 2016 black Nissan Versa with Georgia tag CFH1483.

Police found the car driving on Highway 166 near Delowe Drive, with the help of the suspect's parents.
"Her parents were able to contact the female we were trying to locate. We were able to get her on the phone and were able to conduct a traffic stop on 166 where we recovered the four children," a police spokesperson said.
The children were checked out by medical staff and determined to be OK. They were reunited with their mother at the apartment complex.
The suspect was taken to Atlanta police headquarters and faces multiple charges.
Police believe the suspect may have known the children's mother. The mother did not want to comment on the situation.
