Do you recognize this man? Police say he shot woman, Uber driver

ATLANTA — Police have released photos of a man accused of shooting two people in northwest Atlanta. 

Police said the incidents started about 5:30 a.m. Friday.

The man was seen interacting with a woman at a convenience store on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard. Police said he got in the woman's car and left with her.

The woman was later found in the yard of a home on Oakmont Drive with a gunshot wound to the face.

Witnesses said the woman knocked on doors nearby looking for help.

Police said the man then opened fire on an Uber vehicle at the intersection of Boone and Hamilton E. Holmes Drive.

The Uber driver was shot in the abdomen. A female passenger suffered minor injuries from fragments of glass.

The victims were taken to Grady Hospital for treatment. Channel 2's Matt Johnson spoke with the family of the woman who was shot. They said she is undergoing surgery.

Investigators said they need the public's help identifying the shooter..
