ATLANTA — Police are investigating a fatal shooting in southwest Atlanta.
The Fulton County medical examiner identified the victim as Scott Hull, 37, of Atlanta.
The shooting happened at the Brentwood Village Apartments on Alison Court.
Police told Channel 2’s Audrey Washington they responded to a shots fired call shortly after 3 a.m Monday. Police are still searching for the shooter after they spent five hours investigating inside the apartment.

Police said there were no signs of a struggle inside so it's still unclear whether the victim knew the shooter.
We were there as crime scene investigators took several evidence bags away from the scene of the shooting.
Police said they are interviewing potential witnesses.
"All we have is a witness who said they heard gunshots at around 3:30, didn't see anyone exiting the apartment,” Major Adam Lee III said.
