Pedestrian hit, killed on I-85 in Midtown

ATLANTA — Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian hit and killed on the downtown connector.

A mini-van hit the victim just before midnight in the southbound lanes near the 17th Street Bridge in Midtown Atlanta.

Police said the driver did not see the victim was trying to cross the interstate.
