Owner says antique car damaged while getting repaired

ATLANTA — A man is distraught after he said he dropped off his antique car to be repaired -- only for it to later have more damage.

The owner said he went to pick it up on Monday on Howell Mill Road and saw it was wrecked on both sides.

The roof was also open, as if someone had been driving it.

The car owner said no one can tell him what happened, and the regional director of Just Brakes told him it would be three to four months before they can repair it because it is an antique.

She said the car has a problem going into reverse

A technician couldn't get it to go in reverse and when he got out to push it, the car began rolling back and hit a wall and another car.

The Just Brakes spokesperson told Jones customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Taylor said he's satisfied now that he knows what happened.

The spokeswoman said the company takes full responsibility and will once again repair Taylor's car.
