Man turns himself in after suspected exposure during Dragon Con parade

ATLANTA — Atlanta police say a man they believe exposed himself to a woman during last weekend’s Dragon Con convention has turned himself in.

Investigators said Lerisha Collins pulled down his pants and exposed his private part during the Dragon Con parade last weekend.

They say he bumped up against the victim, a mother who was standing with her fiancé and child.

The family was watching the parade at Andrew Young International Boulevard and Peachtree Center Avenue.

"We do have some very good eyewitnesses and they were able to capture some photographs of this individual they've shared those with our office and they were instrumental in streamlining our investigation," said Detective R.M. Woolfolk with the Atlanta Police Department.

Investigators said Collins ran once the woman saw him.

Police said Collins has been taken to the Fulton County Jail. He is expected to face charges of sexual battery and public indecency.
