A man who jumped off a bridge is recovering this morning at Grady Memorial Hospital.
ATLANTA — Our camera was there early Saturday morning as Atlanta Fire and Rescue hoisted the man up on a stretcher.
Police tell Channel 2 Action News they tried to pull the man over on Interstate 75, but he got out of his car and jumped over the retaining wall and fell about 70 feet.
Investigators said the man told them he had been drinking and had run to try to avoid a DUI arrest.
