Man disappears after Craigslist meeting

ATLANTA — A man was reported missing after his friend said he met someone to sell his truck and she has not heard from him since.

Vicente Cruz's friend said he arranged a meeting on Monday on Grand Avenue in Atlanta with someone whom he met on Craiglist to sell his Ford F-150.

She said that once they were at the designated meeting spot, he told her to leave because it would take awhile to check the truck.

Cruz said he would call his friend, but he never did. His truck was found abandoned Tuesday in a motel parking lot.

"Inside of the vehicles, we have found some blood in the vehicle and therefore at this point in time we're very concerned that our missing person could be in danger," Atlanta police Lt. Ricardo Vasquez said.
