Man arrested after woman's truck stolen from driveway

ATLANTA — Police have arrested a man after someone stole a woman's truck and trailer.

Investigators said the person responsible is still on the run.&

Shirley Rolle said someone stole her truck from her home on Cascade Road about two weeks ago. It contained merchandise for her company and the mobile scooter she used to get around.

Atlanta police said Frederick Primrose, 48, has been arrested and charged with theft by receiving.

"They found him and some of my merchandise in an abandoned house," Rolle said.

Rolle's truck has been recovered, but the trailer, with her business items and scooter inside, is still missing.

Whoever stole the truck has not been found.

"It's frightening not knowing who it is and I could be talking to them every day and not knowing them. I look forward to getting a decent night's rest and to eat a meal, because I haven't been able to eat or sleep," Rolle said.

Rolle said she's gotten reports of her merchandise resurfacing, with people trying to sell it.

Channel 2 Action News viewers have offered to help replace Rolle's scooter. Although a connection has not been made yet, an anonymous donor said he will come through.

"I really appreciate it, and I would like to talk to them or anyone who helps me and thank them very much," Rolle said.

She said there is a reward for information that leads to her trailer and its contents.
