ATLANTA — Severe Weather Team 2 says metro Atlanta should be weather aware come Monday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said wet roadways could be problematic for the Monday morning commute.
In the afternoon, the cold front will move into the north with some isolated showers. Late afternoon and into the evening, the risk of severe weather will go up.
Between 8 p.m. through 11 p.m., Nitz said that's where we can expect our biggest risks of two inches of hail or larger.

Plan for it now -- Wet roadways could be problematic on your Monday AM commute. The weather overnight into the AM, however, isn't what concerns me. It's the severe risk arriving Monday afternoon. I'm breaking down that timeline at 9:16. #gawx pic.twitter.com/CUasmlWKeO
