ATLANTA — The state’s Department of Driver Services computer systems are down statewide, the agency announced Saturday morning.
It is not known when the system will be restored, the announcement said. Locations are scheduled to reopen Tuesday.

"We apologize for the inconvenience," the Facebook page read. "We are working hard to resolve this issue."
Locations with Saturday service generally close at noon. But an Atlanta-area location was turning people away earlier than that.
The agency is responsible for issuing driver’s licenses, renewals, and state ID cards.
