Fans arriving for Falcons-Seahawks showdown

ATLANTA — Final preps outside the Georgia Dome are wrapping up for Saturday’s NFL playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.

"I'm representing Dirty Birds all day. This for all of our teams that got us to this point, but couldn't get us over the hump,” Falcons fan Carl Wright said.

Around the corner at Stats restaurant, they’re actually hosting a rally for 500 Seahawks fans. The manager said it's just business.

"We love to be the host of their event. But this is definitely a Falcons-based restaurant,” manager Aaron Buggs said.

As Seahawks fans arrived from the West Coast, Atlantan Dale Prindel, a transplant from Tacoma, Washington, was happy to have some company.

"Ah! It's a 10. I mean, I love my Seahawks,” Prindel said.

Meantime, Wright says this is the season the Atlanta faithful have waited for and it’s time to Rise Up.

"We're gonna take this dome down in style! So we can go to Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a winning record,” Wright said.
