Channel 2 Action News broke this story Monday on the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat.
The 10-year-old girl was walking down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when police said the man yanked her into some woods near Mozley Park and assaulted her.
Three weeks later her attacker remains on the loose, and neighbors are desperate to find him.
On her way home from work, Roilanda Cummings was anxious to see her kids, knowing the man who sexually assaulted a girl in her neighborhood is still on the loose.
"Just to know that someone's out there, it's really alarming," Cummings told Channel 2’s Justin Wilfon.

That's why she's pleased community leaders are making new efforts to find the 10-year-old's attacker.
They're now offering a $5,000 reward in the case and spent much of Thursday afternoon passing out fliers with the suspect's picture front and center.
"I thought that was good. We did receive one. We talked with the children about if they see somebody, what to do, what not to do," Cummings said.
"We're just walking the neighborhood about the incident that happened with the 10-year-old girl," community activist Derrick Boazman said.
Wilfon followed along as the community leaders went door to door, hoping someone will know something that helps track down the suspect.
"You would do better to turn yourself into the police. And that simply means as men in this community, we're going find you, we're going to hunt you down. It's just that simple," Boazman said.
Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
