ATLANTA — Atlanta Fire Rescue confirms to Channel 2 Action News they are investigating reports of a body found in a creek.
Firefighters were called out to Peachtree Creek in the 2300 block of Peachtree Rd NW shortly before 5 p.m. to investigate.
Channel 2′s Richard Elliot went to the scene where he saw members from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
“Neither the sex nor race of the person located could be identified,” Atlanta police said in a news release.
