Argument over car leads to deadly shooting

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are trying to solve the murder of a young man at a home in southwest Atlanta.

Police said he was killed during a shootout over a car on Friday night.
            
Officers got the call of shots fired just before 11 p.m. at a house on Bakers Ferry Road.
            
They found a man in his mid 20s dead from at least one gunshot wound.

Police said there was more than one person firing and two hit after an argument involving a car.

Detectives are now interviewing the surviving victim.

"We are currently talking to him," Lt. Charles Hampton said. "He is being cooperative. We're also talking to residents inside the house just to figure out exactly what happened. But at this time it does appear the victim was the intended target."
   
Police have not released any information about any possible suspects they're still looking for more information that those involved left the scene.
             
So far, no one has been charged.
