ATLANTA — The man accused of a hit-and-run wreck that put a woman in the hospital with serious head injuries, has turned himself in to police.
Angelica Green, 20, was crossing Old National Highway near Godby Road with her boyfriend when a car hit her and the driver took off.
What the man told police before allegedly confessing to the crime, on the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11 p.m.
The incident happened on Oct. 11. The crash caused serious injuries and trauma to half of Green's body.
Only Channel 2’s Nefertiti Jaquez was there when the alleged driver turned himself in at police headquarters Tuesday night.
