Atlanta rapper and his cousin reported missing after traveling out of state

ATLANTA — A family is searching for a missing Atlanta rapper and father who traveled to Alabama.

Montgomery police said Edward Reeves, 29, and Kendrick Stokes, 30, were reported missing Tuesday.

Reeves is from Atlanta and goes by the stage name Bambino Gold.

His family said he traveled to Alabama with his cousin on Sunday, and both men are now unreachable.

Washington spoke with Reeves’ girlfriend by phone Friday morning. She did not want to be named, but said she last spoke to him on Sunday.

“He seemed fine ... like nothing was wrong with him,” his girlfriend said. “I’m try not to think about nothing being wrong. I’m trying to think positive.”

His girlfriend said they went to the Ridgecrest area of Montgomery to visit a friend and were supposed to return a few days later.

She said when both Reeves and Stokes stopped answering their phones and posting on social media, she filed a missing persons’ report.

Police said they were driving a white 2016 Honda CRV with a Georgia license plate.

“He was wearing a white T-shirt, he had on dark denim jeans with Timberland boots and Kendrick Stokes his cousin, who was with him, had on a white T-shirt and jogging pants,” the girlfriend said.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.

As for the fans of Bambino Gold, they’ve posted their concerns on social media.

His girlfriend says she has no choice but to keep the faith.
