Arson suspected in 3 separate DeKalb Co. fires

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County firefighters worked to extinguish three fires, which may be a result of arson.

A fire broke out at the Wynview apartments in the 4000 block of Central Drive around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Residents forced from their homes stood outside as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

Channel 2's Sophia Choi spoke to firefighters who said a separate abandoned building and a car also caught fire.

Firefighters said all three fires are being investigated as possible arson.

No one was injured in the fires.
