Another arrest made in kidnapping of Clayton County teen

Channel 2 Action News has obtained court documents that show another arrested has been made in the kidnapping of a Clayton County teen last month.

Tony Maurice Graves, 28, is in federal custody accused of conspiring to abduct 15-year-old Ayvani Hope Perez in the early morning hours of Sept. 17, according to federal court documents.

Police said two armed men broke into Ayvani's home in Ellenwood in the early hours of Sept. 17 and kidnapped her after asking her mother for money and jewelry.

Two days later police announced they had arrested Wildrego Jackson, 29, and Juan Alberto Rodriguez, 40, in connection to Ayvani's abduction.

Police said Ayvani was dropped off unharmed at the Conyers home of a relative 36 hours after she was taken.
According to a federal affidavit, Jackson implicated Graves in the kidnapping plot.

After further investigation, Graves, who also goes by "Tony Ware," was arrested, according to court documents.

He made his first appearance Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill, according to federal court documents.
