99-year-old gives 99 boxes of shoes, clothes to needy

Channel 2 Action News spoke to a 99-year-old Atlanta woman about her continued birthday tradition of giving to people who she said need it the most.
The woman, affectionately called Mother Hughes, marked her 74th year of distributing clothes and shoes to local homeless shelters on Saturday. She gives a box for every year she has lived, so 12 shelters will divide 99 boxes this year.
On her reason for giving, she simply said "the more you give, the more God gives to you."
