22-year-old aspiring rapper shot, killed in northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. — Police say an argument might have led to the deadly shooting of an aspiring rapper in northwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police said the body of 22-year-old Sammy Gantt was found in the 400 block of Norfolk Street Saturday at about 3 a.m. It appears he died of a gunshot wound in the chest, police said.

Their preliminary investigation shows the shooting might have happened in the 500 block of Norfolk Street. Police believe the shooting also stemmed from an argument in the area.

No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
