PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A 2-year-old child has died from an apparent drowning, according to Peachtree City police.
Emergency crews were called out to a home on Loblolly Circle in Peachtree City around 7 p.m. Sunday for a child found unresponsive in Lake Peachtree.
Crews said CPR and other life-saving measures were attempted on the child. The 2-year-old was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the investigating into the drowning is ongoing.
