Fourth person arrested in Walton County double murder

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — Late Sunday evening, authorities with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed a fourth person has been arrested in a Walton County double murder.

Authorities told Channel 2 Action News, Jotavious "Lucky" Fredrick Gunn, 19, turned himself in at the Newton County Jail Sunday night. Gunn is charged is charged with two counts of felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the shooting death of Dontravious Cullin-Stanley and Antavious Smith.

We first told you about this story on Friday after three people were arrested in connection with the double murder tha happened Thursday night.

Deputies said they received a 911 call around 5:30 p.m. at a home on East Hightower Trail in Social Circle.

When officers arrived, they found a man dead and another with a gunshot wound. The surviving victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Authorities are calling it a shootout between more than a half dozen people.

So far, Walton County Sheriff and GBI have charged three men with double murder they say they know were shooting.

Brothers Dequan Gunn and Quintadric Gunn, also Dikembe Thomas.

Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach has learned authorities are searching for a possible fourth murder suspect who may have been shooting, been shot himself, and ran from the scene.

“We do have information at least one individual did leave the scene, did leave scene,” said GBI official Jesse Maddox.

Deputies and the GBI also found evidence of other illegal activity.

"We have determined there were narcotics on scene as well as stolen weapons,” said Maddox.
