Police seek gunman in DeKalb group home shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are searching for the gunman behind a double shooting at a DeKalb County group home.

Two people are in critical condition following the shooting at a boarding home on Shamrock Drive.

Investigators said someone shot a man inside the house and then shot a woman as she was running outside the house around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Investigators told Channel 2 Action News there was either an argument or a fight inside the home, and a shot time late, shots were fired.

"A gun was produced by one of the people who live here. That subject shot two people, a male and female who live here also," LT. Mark Lavigne of the DeKalb County Police Department said.

Police said the victims rented rooms inside the house, but shared the common areas. Investigators have not established the relationships between the gunman and the victims.
